A Tea To You!, wax paper, thread, and tea, 2009, etd. of 25
Each of contributer to the project of my heading to Jalalabad, Afghanistan in November 2008 received an original limited edition A Tea To You! artwork. The work commemorates a tea had in their honor while I was in Afghanistan.
Thank you for your support of First Assignment. I have been fortunate to meet and interview many individuals working in Afghanistan over the last year and a half. During this crucial time it is in the hands of the young adult population in particular, to articulate a political agency for the identity and sustainability of policy in Afghanistan. I am in the process and conversation of understanding individuals’ investment in this respect, and I am excited to continue to promote the book, documentary, and related artworks out of this project, my self-assigned first assignment.
